On my block documentaries are a series of three 52 min docs about my neighboorhood. After  many years of travelling around the world and after becoming father I decided not to travel for a while and to focus on my neighborhood to know better the place and the people where I live ,Lugano, a little city in south Switzerland.
I choose 3 microcosmos to document: a bar, a recycle center and a day-center for senior citizens. The project is called “a chilometro zero” that means in italian as much as “zero carbon emmision”. I chose places that I could reach easely by foot from my home. And I must say around my block I travelled the world.
